THE CHALLENGE

Gateway is a local bank with a lot of big bank competition. In order to stay relevant and land the commercial business they need to keep their doors open, they needed to augment their wonderful in-person experience with an equally fantastic online banking experience.

THE SOLUTION

Create a completely modern, responsive web experience with a homegrown feel. We clarified their service offerings and simplified the way banking services were described, making it easy for people to see which account was right for them.

MY ROLE

  • Lead user research, design qualitative interviews, create user flow scenarios and personans 
  • Conduct content audit on existing site, pinpoint information gaps and service inconsistencies
  • Work with design team to plan user-centered site architecture, navigation and nomenclature
  • Create verbal strategy, messaging, and web content
